The PROGRAM

LICENSING
The purpose of this program is primarily to give any and every Christian a basic understanding of themselves, the people around them, and to find out what is and know the will of God for them. It is also offered to equip the individual to determine what is and how to meet the needs of those individuals they come into contact with on a daily basis.  A very important aspect of the training is to take the mystique out of ministry and to show each student that the will of God, is not to raise up some far off two class clergy system that shuts most of everyday believers out.  They instead find out that each and every Christian is to be set free to minister in the power and authority of Christ.  It will also show them that Christ can, wants to, and will use them and each Christian to establish the body wherever they go, just as He did through the early church.   Lastly, it will credential the individual, though God does not require it, to be able to legally operate in the community they are in, without infringing on the "states" territory.

COURSE DESCRIPTIONS:

1.THEOLOGY 101:        Introduction to Basic Reversionary Beliefs  The student will have a group of materials with study questions, concerning the basics of the church, both historically and presently.  The student will be challenged to rethink the modern popular approach to ministry, polity and theology, and will be asked to defend their understanding of church methodology in light of the study materials.  When the student has completed the course, they may understand that by God's grace, they and every other Christian, will be very capable of ministering through the love of Christ and the name of the Lord.

2.PHILOSOPHY 101:    Culture, Ethics, and a Christian Worldview   The student will have an opportunity to examine information concerning today's world systems.  These will be examined in light of their original establishment and intent, then what are the possible explanations behind their present operation. After the student has gained an understanding of what is  truly happening around them, this information will be compared against what the Bible says is each Christian's responsibility.

3.PSYCHOLOGY 101:   Creation Therapy   The student will be required to take this course to have a basic understanding of each individuals needs.  This an SACC/NCCA course and is also offered elsewhere in this site under the ICC catalogue.  This course examines the individual's inborn temperament, why they do the things they do, explains what a person needs within to feel balanced and complete, and how to meet those needs in light of scripture.

4.MINISTRY:101:                  Leadership Skills and Ministry Methods   This course will be taught by developing the discipleship model of instruction.  This is a biblical approach as was used by Christ and the early church, as well as both the Greek and Jewish cultures of Jesus' day.  This approach deals with the personal life and commitment of both student and teacher, and therefore shows that the need for Sunday School and Seminary are modern replacements of the Biblical madel, and is the only way to be sure that the faith and necessary principles of Christ are grasped by every Christian, and that the church stays flexible, fluid and strong enough to confront the world around it.

5.MINISTRY 102:       Methodology and Ministry   The student will be challenged by numerous approaches, methods and materials.  In this course, sound biblical doctrine will be taught in the form of a brief catechism.  A model of small group ministry will be examined, with lots practical hands on tips given, in order to provide the student with a workable model.  Also the philosophy of the necessity of home ministry will help the leader demonstrate real Christian stewardship to the flock they are responsible for.

PRACTICUM:         Each candidate will be required to train for, plan and host a small group, independent of any other existing group in their area.  This will be in the format of the Church Alive principles learned during this program, and will meet the criterion laid down for a credentialed minister of the Church Alive.  The candidate for ministry will be given an outline plan as to the general format, and provided with every thing needed to successfully host and lead the group for one year.  The church will provide a full set of Worship Bytes materials, for which the candidate will be responsible.  The Materials provided are probably unlike any other that the candidate has seen or used before.  They are not only useful to help the student fulfill their obligations for credentials, but will be a powerful tool for evangelism and discipleship throughout their ministry.

INTERNSHIP:                During the Practicum period, the candidate will be under the direct tutelage and mentorship of an assigned supervisor/instructor.  If the student is in the close proximity of the supervisor, they will meet on a regular basis for mentoring.  The student will find within their Practicum group, three persons who will do a brief monthly evaluation for the supervisor.  This group will choose one of the three to be responsible to distribute and collect the evaluations and to make themselves available to the supervisor if necessary, to cover any aspects of the internship as the supervisor may deem necessary.
